MINISTRIES OF VOICE OF FAITH

As a growing congregation, Voice of Faith provides number of opportunities for service and edification. Members are encouraged and indeed expected to become actively involved in the life  of the church.

 

Evangelism Ministry

While everything we do have evangelistic implications, this ministry focuses on developing and implementing specific evangelistic events and strategies for winning the lost.

 

Activities:                    Planning, Promoting, witnessing and counseling

Time                            Wednesdays (5:00 PM)

 

Music Ministry:

This ministry consists of praise and worship singers, the Choir and Musicians. These ministries glorify God through music and helps people to experience the Lord’s presence and power during our services

 

Activities:        Rehearsals, Singing and ministering in music during services, prayer

Time:               Praise and Worship Rehearsals (Wednesdays 7:30 PM, Choir /rehearsals

                        Saturdays 1-4M

 

Children’s Ministry

This ministry ministers to the spiritual needs of children up to 12 years of age through planned instructional activities, fun and games

Activities:        Children’s Sunday school, Children’s church, Children’s choir, Nursery, Monthly planning meetings, outings on vacation and Bible schoo

Time:               Regular-Sundays 10:00-12:30(1-3 Hours)

Flexible           Occasional special events

 

Youth Ministry

Ministers to the spiritual needs of teen agers through Bible discussions, social and creative programs of interest to youths

 

Activities:        Bible discussions, retreats, fun and games, prayer, and special projects

Time:               Thursday 7:00-9:30 PM

 

Sanctuary Ministries

Consisting of the Ushers, Sound, Cleansing and Security, these ministries serve ministries and visitors by ensuring that their physical environment is clean, safe and orderly  to facilitate the worship of the Lord  free of distraction  and interruptions.

 

Activities:        Varied

Time       :        Flexible, 1-3 hours weekly, usually weekends

 

MEN MINISTRY

This ministry comprises men united in faith for the promotion of kingdom works. It is the arm of the church that is concerned with men and comprises men. It has the sole objective of assisting the enhancement of the service of God.

 

Activity:          Varied

Time:               Saturday 5:00PM

 

WOMEN MINISTRY

Women in the church are organized to support the service of God in unison. This ministry comprises women

Activities:                    Prompting the women auxiliary of the church through evangelism and 

                                    Seminar.

Time:                           Monday 5:00PM

 

Administration:

Volunteers help with administrative and secretarial works as needs arises

Activities: Computer works, documentation, filling and transcribing
