                                        THE STORY ABOUT MY CALLING

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have the honor to submit to your office the story of my calling to serve God, which led me to become a lifetime Pastor. However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that serving the Lord and mankind with all my heart has long been my wish and is forever in Jesus name.

I left my mother land of Liberia and went to the neighboring country of Guinea and lived in Conakry as a Refugee from Liberia. I was unable to return to my home country due to the civil War that broke out on December 24th 1989. From 1992 to 2006, I lived in Conakry, which is the capital City of Guinea as a refugee under the protection of the United Nations (UNHCR).

CALL I

My first calling from the Almighty God happened on the 24th of December 1994 in Deeper Life Church, during their yearly Convention that took place at Hamdallaye Conakry in Guinea. This was the very first time for a man of God saw a Vision of me (or about me) becoming the pastor of my own church. In this Vision, Pastor Saa Elie Tonguino, the principal Pastor of the Deeper Life Church, told me that the Lord has called you to serve him as a Pastor. He also stated that the lord would like to use you as a world-wide Preacher to preach the good News of Jesus Christ as it is outlined in Matthew 28:16-20.

CALL II

This time the Lord gave another vision to Pastor Samuel Walker in the Mission Alpha Church of which I was a member. This happened on October 8, 1995 while we were having our all night prayers at the Church. During this prayer session, at 2:00am the Lord spoke to Pastor Samuel Walker and he said that the lord had called me to serve him, and wanted to use me as a world-wide pastor to preach the good News to his people.

CALL III

On Sunday the 4th of November 1997, another prophecy came to Elder Sumakoko, of the Mission Alpha Church, from the lord to tell me that I had been called to preach the gospel to the entire world in Jesus name. It was at this point that I decided that I had to answer the call. I began to think that if God really was calling me and wanted to use me in his work, then he should speak to me personally so that I could also know the truth. After 3 months, of praying and fasting for the Lord to send me proof that this truly was my calling, he reaffirmed my feelings and called me to serve him.

On the second to last day of my fasting I had a dream, and in that dream I saw myself preaching in the Church with my two hands lifted up in the air with two white ladies standing beside me. The ladies were holding up my hands and in my hands were 2 Bibles and I was preaching the word of God. In the dream, I found only Caucasian people in the congregation.

CALL IV

After 6 months, I had another dream in which 3 Caucasian men dressed like Catholic priests came asking for Joseph Banaci, and I told them I was the person they were looking for. In the dream, they told me to follow them. Later, they showed me a container and stated that “this is your Church”. After this, I asked how a container could be my Church. They told me to stand and look at them while they opened the container. When I looked inside the container, I was surprised to find that there was a mighty Church made out of wood however it was dismantled and put into the container.

They removed all of the pieces from the Container, and in my presence they laid the foundation of the Church with Cement and tar. Then they reassembled the materials, and a mighty Church appeared.

After that they gave me the keys to the church, they said to me “this is your Church open the Church”. I opened the doors and we all entered. Once inside, I saw a child on the floor, and it said to me “this is your first assignment, pray for this child”. As I started praying for the child I said, “I come in the name of the Lord to command you to get up in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ”. Immediately the Child got up and suddenly the three men disappeared.

CALL V

In 2001, I travelled to Freetown in Sierra Leone and visited the Jesus Is Lord Ministry Church, which is one of the biggest churches in the city. On the day I attended there were around 11,000 people in the congregation. During the service I was introduced to the congregation as a visitor that came from Conakry, and later the principal pastor Mama-Doumbouya called me into her Office to pray for me. During this prayer, the Lord gave her a vision and she told me that the Lord had called me to become a Pastor and preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the whole world.

CALL VI

In 2002, there was a great man of God named Anyante who came from Nigeria. He was an international evangelist who was used by God to perform signs and wonders from country to country. Anyante came to Guinea to the Mission Alpha Church to host a 3 day revival. On the first day of the revival, Anyante prophesized that the Lord had called me to serve as a pastor and also stated that the Lord was going to use me as a shepherd for his flock.

On the second day of the revival, Evangelist Anyante called me again before the congregation and said that “the Lord God told me to ask you how long will you serve Him”? I answered, “for the rest of my life”. He urged me to take God’s call seriously because of all the specifications, and confirmations he had shown me. As a result, I decided to go to Bible College and take up a course in theology that would help fully prepare me for my service to the Lord.

CALL VII

On the second Sunday of February 2003, I visited the Reconciliation Church in Conakry Guinea. The pastor of that church was Reverend Dore who told me that he had received a vision about me. He called me and stated that the Lord has called you and is going to use you greatly as a Minister. Rev. Dore also said to be very strong and courageous and to carry on the work of God as it was shown to me.

CALL VIII

On January 25th, 2004, a Canadian Prophetess named Stella visited Mission Alpha Church. During the service at 8:48pm she said that, the Lord had sent her to confirm my calling. She said the Lord had told her that He was going to use me for more than what I thought on this Earth. From that time, I continued my studies and also served as missionary for the Mission Alpha Church.

I was a member of the Mission Alpha Church from January 1992 to 2006, during those fourteen years; I served in a number of positions both as a member and leader in the church. These positions included:

(a) I was member of the intercessory team, and later became the leader of the team.

(b) I was member of the Organizing committee.

(c) I was one of the founders of the Mission Alpha Church Choir and later became Director of the Choir.

(d) I was also the Vice president for the Men’s Ministry and later became the president.

(e) I also served in the position of Elder in the Mission Alpha Church.

(f) After I graduated from Bible College in June 2004, I was ordained and made the Assistant Pastor for the Mission Alpha Church in Gbassia and Conakry Guinea.

(g) In 2005, I became the senior Pastor for the Mission Alpha Church in Conakry Guinea. Then, the Almighty God started carrying me from country to country to preach the gospel to all nations, as it is written in Matthew 28:16-20.

This is the information about my calling and my services both in Africa and around the world. May the Almighty God bless and protect us all in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
